Joseph A. Pagliaro, Jr.

BHead shot of Joseph A. Pagliaro, Jr.orn and raised around the funeral profession, Joseph became a licensed Funeral Director and joined the firm in 1993.

Joseph is very involved in the Shelton and Valley non-profit community, and has served at the board level among numerous local organizations including the Parent Child Resource Center, the Junior Achievement Valley division of Greater Bridgeport Area, Birmingham Group Health Services, the Valley Community Foundation, the Gift of Life Foundation, St. Lawrence Parish Council, St. Joseph’s High School, The Recreation Camp, Griffin Hospital, and St. Catherine Academy.

He has made a significant longtime impact with the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys and Girls Club, currently serving as Chairman of the Board, and the Valley United Way.

With his sister Michelle, Joseph established the Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr. Family Fund after his father passed away.

From the coordination of meaningful funeral events to helping navigate the State's Title 19 planning, and guidance with "picking up the pieces" after a loss, we have the experience and professional expertise to help families through this most difficult time.

Head shot of Edward J. Sheehy, Jr.A licensed funeral director since 1987, Ed served alongside his uncle, founder Joseph A. Pagliaro, Sr., for 17 years before Joe passed. He has led Riverview as President and a Partner since 2004. Ed is passionately devoted to the funeral service profession, and is active with State and National Funeral Director Associations. He currently serves as President of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association.

A lifelong resident of the Valley, Ed has also been heavily involved with St. Margaret Mary Church, the Derby-Shelton Rotary, the Housatonic Council BSA, and coaching softball at the Little League, High School, and Travel levels.

He lives in Shelton with his wife, Jodi, and they have two daughters, Emily and Rebecca.

Headshot of Brett HaywoodTransplanted from British Columbia, Canada, Brett joined the firm in 1998 when he and his wife, Dr. Michelle Pagliaro Haywood, returned to her native Shelton.

A graduate of Brown University, Brett is responsible for the business operations and technology used within the funeral home. He and his wife are members of St. Margaret Mary Church in Shelton.

In his free time, Brett is a longtime coach and volunteer for several area youth hockey programs.

He and his wife live in Shelton with their three children, Tyler, Brian, and Zachary.
